Friday, December 5th — Drop-off & Setup
11:00 AM — Display Team
Transport assembled displays to Community Center; place displays; attach lights to top of panels; assemble extension cords, tape them down, and test lighting.
11:00 AM — Décor Team
Transport needed supplies to the Community Center; inflate hundreds of balloons (with pumps); drape tablecloths; set posters on easels; set up bar and organize supplies; install banner at the street; set up wrapping stations; set up Lowcountry Boil & Oyster Roast Ticket station; and test Smart Terminal POS devices.
11:00 AM–1:00 PM — All Non-Painting Artists Deliver Work & Set Up
Please bring your work during this time.
1:00–3:00 PM — All Paintings & Artwork to arrive to be hung on Grid Panels
3:00–5:00 PM — Hanging of artwork on display grid panels
Saturday, December 6th — Art Show, Lowcountry Boil and Oyster Roast
9:30 AM — Artists in place ready to sell
10:00 AM — Doors open to Art Show
12:00 - 1:00 PM — 1st Seafood Fest timeslot
1:30–2:30 PM — 2nd Seafood Fest timeslot
3:00–4:00 PM — 3rd Seafood Fest timeslot
6:00 PM — Art Show closes
6:30 PM — Artist Sales Tallying - Professional Artist Sales Summary forms are due to Karen Kohlmayer for accounting breakdowns of all artists.
Monday, December 8th - Checks for emerging artists will be cut
Sunday, December 7th — Pick-up
9:00 AM — UNSOLD artwork pick-up (FIAG cannot store unsold works)
Artists (or buddies) must remove all remaining artwork.
Take Down Team will: remove displays and lighting; package & transport materials back to Mangos for storage; remove all décor; bag garbage for Beaufort County facility; return Community Center tables; launder/return linens; sweep floors & clean spills and vacuum the rug.
