We’re currently in our “Try-Before-You-Buy” phase, and you’re invited to experience everything the Guild has to offer—no dues, no commitment, just creativity and community.
Join us for monthly meetings, plein air paint-outs, guest speaker events, and more as we build a vibrant home for artists and makers on Fripp Island.
If you like what you see (and we think you will!), you can become a Core Member for just $45/year starting September 15th. Core Members receive full access to Guild events, shows, and opportunities to exhibit and sell their work.

The Fripp Island Art Guild's Mission Statement
The Fripp Island Art Guild is a welcoming creative community dedicated to inspiring, supporting, and connecting artists and makers of all kinds — from painters and potters to jewelers, quilters, photographers, fiber artists, and beyond.
Founded in 2025, the Guild was established to bring together Fripp Island’s vibrant artistic spirit into a shared space where creativity flourishes, friendships form, and the arts are celebrated as an essential part of community life. In October 2025, the Guild was officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, affirming its commitment to advancing the arts through education, collaboration, and community engagement.
Our mission is to foster artistic growth and connection through education, collaboration, and exhibition. We do this by hosting monthly meetings, plein air paint-outs, guest speaker presentations, group exhibitions, and hands-on creative events that encourage learning, inspiration, and participation for all.
We are proudly inclusive and committed to building a sustainable foundation for future exhibits, educational programs, and partnerships with local and regional arts organizations.
Rooted in the belief that art is for everyone, the Fripp Island Art Guild welcomes artists at every stage of their journey. Through accessible membership options and a “Try-Before-You-Buy” participation model, we ensure that anyone with a creative spark has the opportunity to belong, grow, and contribute.
