Gayle Housel is a fiber artist and knitter who creates handcrafted knitted hats. Each hat is individually knit with hand dyed, natural fibers, that are rich in color, texture and warmth. Living on Fripp Island she takes inspiration from natures beauty of color.

What began as a personal hobby has grown into a passion for wearable art. Her pieces invite tactile engagements, revealing the subtle variations and richness that only hand dyed natural fibers can achieve.
